I’m Bill — and yes, that photo is me riding a little pony horse when I was 67 years old. And here’s the point: no matter how many candles go on the birthday cake, we all need to find time in our day to laugh and discover a fun moment. That’s what drew me to start this blog.
As someone who’s 65+ (I’m proud to say it — an Older Adult), I’ve always believed that staying curious is the best way to keep the mind sharp and life interesting. These days, AI is everywhere — in our phones, our kitchens, our healthcare, even how we connect with family and friends. It’s moving fast, and I want to stay on top of it.
What this blog is about
With olderfriends.org, my goal is simple:
- Find interesting news and stories about AI that you (yes, you — the OA — older adult) can actually use or enjoy
- Share articles, videos, and commentary that make sense of what’s coming without all the tech jargon
- Keep things light, practical, and occasionally funny along the way
Don’t take anything I write too seriously. Life’s too short for that. But do feel free to share your own thoughts and questions. What topics would you like me to dig into?
Stay curious. Stay laughing.
So let this be our corner of the internet — a place where AI meets perspective, knowledge meets humility, and nobody gets left behind while technology races ahead.
